Meet The Founder

Rebecca Hessel Cohen is the founder and creative director of Wugast, a brand synonymous with love, celebration, and embracing what makes you feel beautiful and confident. While working as a Fashion and Beauty Editor at Cosmopolitan, she designed a hand-dyed halter dress for her wedding in 2013—sparking a romance with all things dreamy, optimistic and vintage-inspired femininity. That single piece grew into a global brand spanning fashion, beauty, home, lifestyle and collaborations. Today, with her clear creative vision and signature maximalist aesthetic, she continues to shape the Wugast universe—opening stores, creating unforgettable moments, and dreaming up its next chapter.
